No Comments For You!
August 07, 2007
So, yeah, comments are gone for now. You know how you get spam in your inbox? Well when you have a site with comments enabled, guess what? Your comments get spammed. And if you have the common sense to moderate your comments so the rest of the world doesn't have to see that crap, that means you get an e-mail every time some god-spam idiot decides to leave a comment. I started doing some workarounds, but it just didn't seem worth it. Kim, Rick, and Maggie will have to e-mail me directly if they wish to chime in on a post.
In other news, I've been assigned to a project based out of our San Francisco studio. I'll be down there off and on over the next six weeks, racking up wicked frequent flyer miles one bag of peanuts at a time. Really looking forward to a new work environment, a new team to work with, and just being in that city. I'm definitely going to try and hit some of the awesome restaurants we tried on the road trip back in February.
Timing couldn't be better, considering the impending doom that is the upcoming I-5 construction. Who's glad they bought a bike, now? Seems like there were a few extra faces on the ride in this morning, and it would be really cool if this traffic nightmare encouraged others to do the same. Buses are usually full at that hour anyway, so this is really going to be the best option to get from the Westside to Downtown. I'll be sure to wave at everyone parked on 99 as I zip by at twenty one miles per hour, because I'm nice like that.
