        <![CDATA[<p>Summer is great, isn't it? At least it is up here, when it stays well below 90. Weddings, babies, bachelors, all kinds of excitement. Spent the majority of the day taking it all in, and riding our bikes all over the damn place. It was a relatively flat, leisurely 26 miles, taking off in West Seattle and heading to Leschi, through Montlake, and looping around via Fremont and Ballard back into Downtown. The route:</p>]]>

Bags, top tube covers, saddles, whatever. What's the temperature outside and how long will it take to warm up enough to avoid wearing a jacket? If you've ever been to a hardware store with me, you know how mesmerized I can get. Bike shops are the new hardware store. I just want to look at it.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>I've been interested in getting my messenger bag off my back during my commute. I know, I know, it kind of defeats the purpose a bit. But having a swampy back at the end of a ride isn't the most pleasant experience, especially if you're trying to make a short trip in regular clothing. I needed a rack, for sure, but wasn't too keen on spending $80 on a pannier when my current, waterproof bag suits me just fine.</p>]]>
